Nestled in the picturesque heart of Croatia lies Villa Gimino, a haven of luxury and rustic charm that calls out to those seeking the perfect European getaway. As I approached the villa, its expansive layout, reminiscent of an age-old Tuscan estate, promised an experience of opulence and tranquility. Stepping inside, I was immediately struck by the villa's top-notch equipment and advanced technological amenities. The attention to detail is evident in every nook and corner. For those, like me, who never quite escape work even on vacation, the villa's modern tech ensures you remain seamlessly connected. Sleeping arrangements are always my top concern when I travel with a group, but Villa Gimino didn’t disappoint. There are ample beds, ensuring everyone gets a good night's sleep. However, the villa's magic lies in its ability to cater to both: the collective experiences of a group and the solitude sought by individuals. With numerous private spots peppered around the property, finding a moment of quiet reflection is never a challenge. The leisure amenities truly set this villa apart. A game room, boasting a foosball table, darts, and table tennis, became the heart of our evenings. Competitive spirits flared and laughter echoed, making it the perfect bonding space for families and friends alike. But what truly elevates the stay at Villa Gimino is the human touch. Nenad, a name that resonates with warmth and impeccable service, ensures that your every need is catered to. His dedication to guests is evident in the pristine cleanliness maintained throughout the property. The once-a-week top cleaning session ensures that the villa remains spotless, making for a comfortable and hygienic stay. The outdoor area, complete with a spacious pool, became our daily retreat. Surrounded by nature, it’s an ideal spot for both sun worshippers and those looking to cool off. As the sun set, we often found ourselves gravitating towards the outdoor lodge. Whether it was breakfast with the first rays of the sun or a dinner under a canopy of stars, the dual grilling options added a delicious dimension to our meals. Yet, it's not just the villa that's enchanting. Its location, though serene and quiet, is strategically placed. While the immediate surroundings whisk you away into a peaceful realm, urban adventures and shopping sprees are just a short drive away. The villa's well-equipped kitchen meant we could whip up meals with local produce, bringing a taste of Croatia right to our plates. Concluding my stay at Villa Gimino, I carry with me a treasure trove of memories – of laughter echoing in spacious halls, of sun-drenched afternoons by the pool, and of tranquil nights under the vast Croatian sky. Villa Gimino isn’t just a luxurious abode; it’s an experience, waiting to wrap you in its embrace.

We hebben met twee gezinnen een heerlijke vakantie gehad in villa Gimino. Veel ruimte, van alle gemakken voorzien, een heerlijk buitenverblijf in de tuin, een fijne plek om te ontspannen en te relaxen. De locatie is heerlijk rustig en dagelijkse boodschappen zijn binnen 10 minuten afstand te halen. Leuke stadjes , activiteiten, strand binnen 20 tot 60 minuten rijden. Istrie een beetje ontdekt en het smaakt naar meer!

Wir waren im Juli 2023 mit einer Gruppe von 8 Personen in der Villa Gimino und wir hatten eine wirklich tolle Woche! Der Besitzer versorgt einen im Vorfeld mit allen wichtigen Informationen und antwortet bei fragen oder Probleme auch sehr schnell. Im Haus selber liegt eine ausführliche Broschüre über das Haus und alles drum herum! Das Haus ist großzügig gestaltet und beeindruckt mit einem eher ländlichen und rustikalen Charme. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr ruhig und von den Nachbaren bekommt man kaum etwas mit. Im Ort selbst ist nichts los, das besteht nur aus einer Hand voll Häusern. Wer in die Stadt oder zum einkaufen möchte, muss mit dem Auto fahren. Es sind aber alle Ziele relativ schnell erreichbar. In der Küche findet man alle wichtigen Utensilien, die man in einem normalen Haushalt braucht. Der Pool hat eine gute Größe, sodass wir dort viele sonnige Tage verbracht haben. Frühstück und Abendessen gab es immer in der Outdoor Lodge, wo auch ein Elektro Grill vorzufinden war (Grillen mit Kohle ist aber auch möglich!) Einziges Manko: Die vielen unterschiedlichen (und zum Teil auch SEHR großen) Insekten. Das Haus ist von vielen Bäumen umgeben, was für die Tiere das Paradies ist. Das einzige, was am Haus wirklich „fehlt“, sind Insektenschutztüren. Denn, wer nachts die Fenster offen lässt, ist mehr als mutig! Alles in allem aber ein super schöner Urlaub mit viel Entspannung und tollen Momenten, die in Erinnerung bleiben!
